Project Overview
The runway for the rebrand had already been rolled out by the time I arrived, so I rolled up my sleeves to get to work as soon as I received access to Adobe CC. By the end of the first quarter, I was to finish recreating every unique piece of user-facing and business-facing marketing collateral. This was because the newly-reskinned project was set to launch shortly thereafter. It was a race to the finish line.
The truth is, Payactiv's solution is difficult to wrap one's head around. Beyond Earned Wage Access was a digital wallet tool that was intended to aid users in their quest for financial wellness.
How can we simplify the idea of Payactiv to people who've never heard of us before?
How can we show users that we're more than just one feature without overwhelming them with so much information? How can we show so much with so little?
These were our biggest challenges.
TIMELINE
3 months
TOOLS USED
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace programs, Figma
MY ROLE
Marketing Designer, amateur Content Writer
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collateral Design, Social Media, Design Systems, Visual Design, Presentation Design, Brand Direction, Video Direction
Flyers, One-pagers, and Posters
As a business-to-business-to-consumer company, Payactiv caters to more than one audience. As part of the first collateral wave release, I needed to create both a user-facing and a business-facing version of most materials. I began by creating styles and templates for each category of flyer for better project scalability.  By the end of the first month, I had designed over 40 unique new pieces of collateral that both the sales and account management teams now use on a weekly basis.

BUSINESS-FACING MATERIALS
Digital Designs
Payactiv is present on many platforms including, but not limited to: social media, email, podcasts, and app stores. Below are a few examples of digital work I wanted to highlight.
Presentation Design
A large portion of our users come from our enterprise clients. I frequently create RFPs, RFIs, and various slide decks for our sales department. On many occasions, I've designed these decks within the brand guidelines of other companies, whether they are current partners or active leads.
Whitepapers and Ebooks
Over 75% of our customers come from our B2B channel, so our team actively worked to push out new materials and generate new leads. Long-form collateral such as whitepapers, impact reports, and ebooks took up a huge chunk of my weekly responsibilities. By the end of my first quarter, I had reskinned and designed over 12 new pieces, most of which averaged 6-12 pages each.
Website Design
After being promoted to Lead Marketing Designer, I've been able to take part in more website design projects. I've created unique landing pages for sales and user campaigns, as well as refreshed versions of several live pages on payactiv.com. I also help to actively expand the visual design system by creating new components and adding to the current illustration library.

Demo Video
I had the opportunity to lead our talented team of designers and animators to create a generic demo video of our Payactiv app. I was responsible for the creative direction of the video, as well as managing the team to meet our deadline. On top of building and designing some assets, I was tasked to write the script, define scopes, and project manage the entire process.
